Best Alarms........

Yea, you can spend lot of $ on alarms and I have in the past but with my
G I've just gone with the factory alarm but with a shock sensor added
in case someone comes along with a flat bed and wants to barrow my car.

If someone wants to break into your car and take something they are going to do it. I dont think an alarm is going to matter, its all for "looks" IMO. If anything the alarm that beeps and freaks out the most is only going to draw attention to your car, people see that you have put money in it. The stock alarm goes off if someone tries to unluck your car from the inside, it goes off if the windows are broken, basically has all the features other alarms have just not as fancy.

Like i said if someone wants something from your car and they break into it, the noise your car makes rather it be loud music, honking, beeping...it isn't going to make a difference.

are you sure stock alarm has glass sensors?? because 90% of stock alarms do not go off when the windows are broken.

I've actually never seen a stock alarm with a glass sensor. I've seen them with shock sensors and motion sensors, but not glass.

The G35 stock alarm only goes off if it is armed and a door, trunk, or hood is opened.

Actually, when the door is opened, trunk and hood the alarm still won't go off, I don't think it has hood and trunk pins installed.

I am 100% positive that the G35 has both a trunk pin and hood pin from the factory.

I'd go with the Viper. But I also feel alarms have a limited value for the most part.
