My G35 was perfect the first 3 months. but now im getting chips in the paint, annoying scratches, f'd up cd players, and the lining on my sun roof is coming off every two seconds. I thought this company was known for quality...or at least offering contracts to companies that make quality products...F clarion too!

Did you put a cdr with a label in it? I thought that was the only reason for the cd error.

No cd label. I pulled over and turned to car on and off a couple times. I pressed the eject load a bunch of times...nothing but a clicking noise. It happened when I was attempting to switch from CD 4 to 5. Frustrating.

mine is doing the same thing..the service guy at the dealership knew what it was and asked for my vin so he could order another radio.

 

CD-Rs and labels are the scapegoat, but mine's jammed 3 times now on standard store-bought audio CDs. I don't know if it jammed on the 4-5 switch, but it did have 6 discs in every time it jammed. The 4th radio has been working for over 6 months now, longer than the first 3 combined. (Knock on wood.) The dealership didn't ask for my VIN.. I'm in their computer by name. They say I've gotten a brand-new unit each time, no refurbs or anything, so I'm naturally skeptical as to how long the current one will last before it decides to jam, too.
