07 coupe with bose... where is the bass?

just got it a month ago and it has the "upgraded sound" and it sure doesn't sound like it. we rented an FX a couple weeks ago with a Bose stereo and it had so much more bass. just not sure if this is normal and if there are any adjustments I am missing besides the obvious ones on the stereo settings. thanks

press audio.. until you get to bass.. turn it up.. then it should have another option, not sure at the moment to lazy to go check but turn it on high, then play a track that bumps... and your done!

when you turn off the car you have to reset the bass if it's at +5. when you get in your car again go town to +4 then back to +5.

Bass sounded good to me. The lack of highs is what kills me. I ended up removing the 6x9's and installed a single JL 12W6v2 in a ported enclosure upfiring through the rear 6x9 holes. It definately takes care of the bass.
