someone help me w/ 07 airbag light

did this procedure like 6 times each time tryint o figure if i did something wrong and adjust how im doing it.. and nothing..

from my350z.com
For the Airbag Reseting procedure…You must first change the SRS system to self-diagnosis mode, and then back to user mode to clear the airbag fault you might be getting after unplugging the side-impact seat airbag and driving with the car..
How to Change to Self-Diagnosis Mode:
1. Turn Ignition switch from OFF to ON.
2. Within 1 second after air bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, turn OFF ignition switch
3. After ignition switch is turned off, wait for more than 3 seconds.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice. (perform 3 times in total)
5. Turn ignition switch ON again (turn to Diagnosis Mode.)
Turn to USER mode
1. Turn Ignition switch to OFF to ON.
2. Within 1 second after airbag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, turn off the ignition switch.
3. After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice (perform 3 times in total)
5. Turn ignition switch ON again (Turn to User Mode)

when i get to step 5.. i leave on for a few seconds and the light does a really slow blink and then blinks fast and then does a really slow blink.. and blinks fast. im guessing this is it trying to diagnose? and then i turn off. and do the steps again.. but when i get to the user mode step 5 it does the exact same and when starting car it just keeps blinking like usual.

could i have gotten into a different mode or something by doing it so many times? or whats going on.??? now my outside temp reads 99 and its like 80 outside... what the hell did i do?

found this in service manual:

i do everything and when i get into the section where i "how to erase self diagnosis mode" i turn off for 1 second and back on and then it does like this weird setup where it goes:

off for 2 seconds, on for 2, off for 2, off for .5 on for .5 off for .5 on for .5 off for .5 on for .5, off for .5 on for .5,off for .5 on for .5, off for 2 seconds, on for 2 seconds and so forth..

ima going to try like 5 more times and then its back to clearwater next weekend for them to try and reset.. hopefully they can do it out front cause ill have 22's on then and they have some wicked holes/bumps there
