Stock Amp
Stock Amp
If I change my bose head unit in my 03 G Coupe, will my stock amp still work? If not is there a way to make it work?
I tried searching. but I didnt find anything. Im sure it must be anwsered a millon times on here, somewhere.

I think the stock amp sounds fine, and I dont have the money right now to buy an amp I would actually be happy with.
I already have a JL 1000/1 and 2 W6's.
I had it hooked up to my stock HU and it sounds fine, so I dont see the problem with replacing my stock HU and keeping the amp.

Is this a BOSE amp? If so, then you will definately want to power off the head unit. I think all the frequency correction and splitting wouldn't sound right with an after market unit.
If you are replacing stock audio equipment, the Bose amp is the first place to start, not the HU. That said, if you get a new HU, use its internal power and bypass the Bose amp.
