Red face Weak base in 2007 G35 sedan

I recently leased a 2007 g35 with the premium bose speakers. The sound is clear but the base is very sad. So, are my speakers malfunctioning or could a "state-of-the-art system" really have base this weak? I have heard that the bose system is usually lacking on base, but this is pretty ridiculous.

Follow-up: if this is just the way the speakers are, like i suspect, is it possible to install more powerful subs without screwing my lease?

thanks for any help.

The BASS is far from weak. Why don't you turn the BASS up in the audio settings? It is more than plenty for me... I don't want everything in my car rattling from stupid bass...
