aftermarket radio and stock compass???

aftermarket radio and stock compass???
Hey guys,
After i put in my double din and my aftermarket radio, my compass stopped working. The dealership says its bc the compass is tied into the stock radio (and they say they have the wiring schematic to prove it). BUT, i have not heard of one person complain of this problem!! WTF?
I dont see the radio tied into the compass from this wiring diagram??
Anyhow, anyone else have this problem or know of the fix?

I had taken my car completely apart to put in my DVD entertainment system and have had no troubles with mine. It is not attatched to the radio to my knowledge.
