Pioneer AVH-P7800DVD?? Thoughts??

I might be in the market for a new headunit.

Anyone have any experience or thoughts about this one?

I can't find any demo units or any one who owns it.
Thanks.

Why go with a single-din unit?

I ask the question and then I see your site...

Interesting install, did you custom-make that lower piece?

Yes, the lower console was completely custom made.

It was made by hacking off the top portion of the OEM piece, then epoxying together a Pioneer-provided ABS trim ring, some steel rail reinforcements, bondo, sand, prime and plenty of coats of wet-sanded paint. That thing took alot of effort to make, so I am leaning towards single-din.

In addition, the AVH-P7800DVD seems to be the only flip out screen that supports multi-channel right out of the box. This is also preferred because my speakers are already setup that way.
