BOSE WARINING
BOSE WARINING
My CD player locked up an will not spit out any CD's or play. I took it into the dealer and was told that it jammed because I put a burned CD in it. Now I gotta wait a month for a new player. Don't use burned CD's. Lexus had the same problem and they won't warranty the player if you use them. Infiniti will warranty it.
Re: BOSE WARINING
perhaps it just the damn stickers "labels" that are not correctly applied to your cd-r's
that will most likley cause a problem.
Just use good quality labels or use a marker on the cd-r

Re: BOSE WARINING
Yagman, I had the same issue on my CD player, except Infinity told me it was NOT due to CD-R, but rather the player was defective. This is a known issue with the Bose 6-Disc that Infiniti service is aware of. I got mine replaced, the replacement only took 3 days to arrive at the dealer. A month is too long, you should call them and complain.
Also, if you are desperate, there is a trick you can try. Turn the CD player off with the "POWER" button. Then, turn it back on and either hit eject or any other button you can find that will make the player try an action of any kind, like ejecting, loading, or "Checking" the CD's. While it is in this process, give the side of the console next to the CD player some good thumps with the butt of your palm. It may not work right away, I had to do this 5-10 times sometimes before the CD would finally kick out, but eventually it always worked. This saved me from being unable to use my CD player while I waited for my new one. Keep in mind the CD may stick again eventually, but this will get you music while you wait.

No stickers but I didn't use the highest quality CD's when I burned em. The month is due to the dock lockout. Nothing is coming in right now. I can get it to make an eject sound but nothing comes out, I'll try giving it a knock. thanks
Re: BOSE WARINING
I brought along a CD-R with me to test out the sound system on the Sedan and the Coupe. Both had the Bose upgrade. CD-R had no sticker on it. Wrote on it with marker. Both played and ejected the CD normally.
