What year is your car? The CD player has had issues, especially on the early G35s. Get it to the dealer.

You can call Infinit and give them the VIN number on the vehicle. They should be able to tell you when the warranty is up.

Have the same problem. Went to the dealer he said No warranty in the CD player. He says it's only good for the first year. Gave me some Radio Repair man's number who never seems to answer or call back. So I said *** it and obught me a Ipod and car stereo adaptor.

yes bring it to the dealership. mine knew exactly what the issue was, no hassles. replaced it for free under warranty. if you still have warranty, bring it back and don't go without them ordering you a new unit.

otherwise if you are out of warranty, i HIGHLY suggest going aftermarket.

I had the same issue. Bought an '04 and 2 months later it crapped out. Luxury car my *** when stupid crap like this doesn't work. It's not like a CD changer is brain surgery nowadays.

I got the extended warranty since I bought used so hopefully it is covered and I can get it replaces, otherwise, imma give this car absolute HELL til i pay it off a little to get rid of it. Theres no way I am paying for a car like this where the damn CD player screws up.

I've had similar problems with my CD player. I've been trying to see if it's just me, but it seems to only be with burned CDs. And it only happens if they're being played for an hour or so. Okay, so I'm going in next week to get the CD player replaced for THE THIRD TIME!!! They're telling me that many other makes are not allowing burned CDs to play in their vehicles (like Ford, etc) and they can't guarantee I won't have the same problem. So far I'm under warranty. But I can't believe that buyers are so limited with shoddy technology.

The CD player warranty is the same length as the rest of the car's standard warranty - 48 months/60K miles.

Debbra, my 03.5 sedan system plays burned CD's all the time without a problem. It could be the burning software or the discs that you are using.
