Does the double din kit affect AC? I've read somewhere about the AC Unit not going to work? So does that mean if you swapped your stock dash kit with the double din kit, you would not have AC?

 

your name is suitable for you. the double din kit comes with an a/c controller, this is actually how i am planning to fix my a/c.

 

What you have probably read is that you lose the dual climate control function (without some additional modifications) with the a/c controller included in the double din kit.

 

How do you keep the dual air control? I want to add a double din kit so I can add an extra screen. How do i add it so I don't loose my dual air? Can't i just move the controls up to where the factory navigation buttons are? I was planning on removing the nav controls. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I desolderd a button off the old ac unit and soldered it to the new one and it worked. the dual button just doesnt light up because the LEDs seemed too small to desolder. I think people oreder a new LED if it meens that much to you
