In-Car Ipod Question for a G Coupe?
I drive a 2003 G Coupe and I recently bought a Ipod Nano because of the CD Error problem. I also bought me a In-Car Cassete Adapter because I heard it sounds better than Fm Transmitters. So I plug it in and the sound is hardly there! It's kinda of static/low sound at the highest volume. So I wasted 15 bucks for nothin. So I'm thinkin bout buyin a Fm Transmitter now and was wondering if any of u guys have em and do u have any problems with the sound quality?
Gonna depend on where you are at. If you are in a rural area, you might be ok with an FM Transmitter. I am in Atlanta and tried that route, no good. Regardless of how many channels it broadcasts, some station you never heard of decides to pick up on that station. If you are in an area with little raido traffic it might be alright.
I have always found that the cassette adapter loses quality probably at less of a rate than the transmitter. You are better going off with the SAT adapter for an AUX source I think for around 150 or so.

When using the casette adapter, did you turn up the volume on your iPod? I used a cassette adapter in my sedan for a short while before going with the Nissan iPod unit and the cassette adapter sounded good with plenty of volume.
Well the cassette adapter worked finally. It was on side 2 so sound was horrible. I finally got it to side 1 today and the sound quality is wonderful. Thanks for the replies guys.
