Hey, Well Im looking to put a pretty decent system in it. I would rather do it myself instead of paying someone.

Do you guys have any links for information?
What complete system do you reccomend for an 03 coupe? Nothing to loud, I just want crisp sound.

Thanks!

all i did in my 04(non-bose) was put a sub in it and still have the stock head unit still and i think it sounds awesome for what it is, good enough for me atleast. good base and the speakers give out good mid and high's, perfect for me imo.

Crisp sound?

Trash the stock HU, replace with Alpine 9835 (Ebay), or a more recent DD Alpine. W200, W205, etc.

Trash stock components and replace with DLS, MB Quart, anything else than the Blose!

Trash stock amp. Disconnect 6x9s and rear coaxials. Replace with nice 2-4 channel amp for the components. 4 channel if you plan to biamp.

Enjoy awesome 2-channel SQ sound with crisp highs and deeper lows.

++++1....i hate to say it, but basically ditchin' the whole bose system. They all work in conjunction, you remove one part, then the others seems to get worst

I went with the HU first, but it was lacking the original overall loudness/power

Then i went with an AMP, much better, but stock speakers can't handle it, AND it's not all the clear and crisp.

So i'm at a point where i want to change the speakers out.

What is your budget? Kicker makes great stuff from my experience.
