Update: well after a week of testing, I came to learn that the USASpec does NOT charge the iPhone. Yep and it is weird becuase the battery icon on the iPhone shows as it if was charging the whole time that is plugged in, but the phone doesn't actually receive the charge. I even try Nano again and it does charge so my USASpec is working properly. Everyhing else works fine with the iPhone as far as music playing and steering wheels controls, I guess to have two functions out of the three is not that bad. Just keep your iPhone charged before getting in your G.

I am having trouble with my '04 coupe 5AT NON-nav bose unit. I installed the PA11NIS and the iphone says its not compatible and asks if i want to turn on airplane mode. help?
also, explain how its works!! you play it as a cd?? can you have any cds in your changer? thanks, any and all information is greatly appreciated!!!

one more thing, as far as the installation goes, there are two wire harnesses on the PA11NIS. if i recall, one harness connects to the head unit and the other to another harness on the located behind the radio. which is the correct harness to plug? how should the switches be set? please help!! its been over a month and i cant figure this out!

have you tried that new adapter made by scochse or w/e they are.

its suppose to make it so that the 3g charges on normal stuff. might work with a 2g as well.

i feel you on the iphone not charging. thats the main reason why i got the 16gb but i guess i'll get it and use my 60gb. when i upload music i have to do it twice...
