AVIC-D3 with XM question

I just bought the D3, anxiously awaiting my Double Din kit from the folks at Riverside Infiniti, who by the way, gave me a great deal ($280 shipped) as well as the PAC SWI-PS so I can get this beauty installed. My question though is about the XM Module. I have looked all over the forum so I'm sorry if I may not have searched for it correctly but do I need the XM satellite digital tuner (ie., GEX-P10XMT, GEX-P920XM, GEX-P910XM, GEX-P900XM) since there is already something that works for XM built into my stock non-Bose radio? I realize I'll be removing that radio, but if the XM part of it is not built into the stock unit, I'd like to be able to re-use that as well as the antenna. Is that possible? And if it's not possible which of the four choices for the XM tuner is the best? Also, I am buying the Sirius tuner so that I can have both XM and Sirius and hope that all of this works together. Thanks so much!

PS - I have learned a great deal about my car lurking this forum, you all are amazing!

You cannot re-use any of the stock sirius parts. you will need to purchase a receiver with antenna that works with your aftermarket HU.

Thanks! Just ordered the Sirius Tuner and the XM Tuner so I could have both. I just hope I don't look like an antenna junkie though. With the stock one permanently attached to my roof and now adding two more, I'm likely to look like Barney Fife!

Still trying to figure out all the pieces to this puzzle. The AVIC-D3's trim piece that comes in the box is a joke, now I'm doing research on a cover-up so if anyone has a solution, I'm all ears. And please keep in mind, I am no installer, just trying to gather the pieces to have it installed once the right way.
