DD kits for JDM V35

I have jdm v35 and want to get dd kits. the factory monitor is useless, the navi and dvd function doesn't work in Austalia
Can someone inform me where to get dd kits for my *** console or someone is selling it?

Might be easier for you to get one from Japan.

In the USA, www.grubbsperformance.com and www.everythingg35.com sell them.

Yeah that should work. But the buttons are really cheap looking.

Assuming your system is like USDM, you don't need the bracket, but you do need the AC controller.

Email Yoshi at J's garage http://www.j-garage.com/profile.htm

He can get you the authentic JDM DDIN dash and AC Control, they are in Japan also so it might be cheaper than getting it from the US. The Metra kit in the link you provided might be a little cheaper and a lot of people are happy with it but I don't really like the buttons on it, so personally I would go with the authentic one. Also I know you can use the existing bracket if you don't have factory nav, not positive if you can with factory nav, but I'm sure someone else here can answer that question for ya.

You can't use the existing ac controller because it is on the same board as the head unit. If you could transfer the buttons off the existing ac controller onto the metra kit that would be a cheaper and better looking alternative...someone asked that before and I can't remember why but I think it wasn't possible

I have installed a JVC 805 in a friend's car. It fits and works great.

so I guess i'm one of the only people who have a solid black dash. I guess it'll look a little odd w/ a silver DD kit till I paint it somehow, but I don't have much of a choice right now.
