VSS Wire

Where is it on my 04 g35x? I took the center console out and tried to find the wire from my z1. Its the pink wire from z1 on my power cable harness and i tapped into it on a harness that was the top right one that looked white with green stripe. It still didnt do my speed pusle in the unit. Im asking where is the harness from my g35x? I cant find it i guess, there is so many harnesses. Please i dont want to go back and pay the person that was awhile ago. He never conntected it, it seems like. The pink wire was cut short.

You should be able to find it up at the A/C display board. It should be a white/green wire. Grab a volt meter that reads frequency and test any white/green wire you find there.

I wouldn't advise just hooking things up to try them.

If that fails, grab a service manual for your year/make/model and start looking for the signal at various places. I actually thought it was already at the radio, since the G35 (at least my coupe) has speed sensitive volume control.

DEI says it's a white/green wire on a 2 pin radio harness. try to find that.

On a 350z it's a white/grey wire. Is there one on the radio? if so try that...

is it on a harness that is not connected? I have one connector not connected just hanging there. I tapped a wire that was a blend of white and green light color, upper right corner it had no stripe in it. It was next to a red wire with blue stripe. that was not the one. i want to open it back up tommorow and try again. where is the wire?
