I have a question. Every picture ive seen they all have the HU shown. Is there a cover for the HU? to close it when its not in use? Also out of the topic. does a AfterMarket HU make a big difference for the deepness of a woofer's bass than a Stock HU? (like the equalizer) Also what would be a great HU for equalizing?

PoorG35, do you know or can recommend a good HU for Sound Quality and Equalizing? or is it all personal preference?

 

i did the kenwood 7100 because it does dual staging and has garmin navi.

some say eclipse or pioneer have a better eq, but it doesnt matter all that much if you dont replace your speakers

 

how is the kenwood 7100? i have the bose speakers and amp and sub from RF T2 series. i plan on replacing the bose speakers if its going to make it sound better. im more of a sound quality person and the deepness of bass.

 

i have the kenwood dnx 7100 too, but i didnt think the bass was all that deep. i actually thought my stock bose hit harder.even though it wasnt set too high. is there something im doing wrong? i think i have the bass to the max setting too.
