I don't know which plug goes in that exact hole, but the 4 plugs in the back of the radio are two power and speaker harnesses, 1 satellite prewire, and 1 steering wheel control. Since that receptacle is small, I'm going to guess it is for the steering wheel controls, which only have 4 wires.

 

Im thinking its the SAT plug, I wanted to make sure b/c I dont think my 03 came pre wired for SAT even tough it has a SAT button on the radio??

 

I thought the ealier models were prewired if they have a sat button. The latter year models ( i have a 06) were all prewired.

 

Even if your car didn't come prewired for SAT, there is still something plugged into each socket. My sedan wasn't prewired for sat, so, if I recall correctly, when I had to wire it with the sat cable, I had to unplug another cable.

You can check the VIN to see if your car is prewired for sat.
Sedan VIN: 321894 & higher is prewired
Coupe VIN: 210827 & higher is prewired

 

sorry to bring this back but has anyone comfirmed the other white plug is the steering wheel control?
