Replacing stock HU with DUAL XDVD8285
I have already purchased DD kit. The head unit is on the way.
Not putting sub boxes in or anything like it due to frequent traveling and need for trunk space.
However, we have decided to upgrade the stereo. Here is what is on the way:
General
# Motorized 6.5" touch screen TFT LCD monitor
# 2-DIN Chassis
# 60x4 Max Power (260 Watts Total)
# Center channel output (20x1)
# Fully self-contained (no hide-away box)
# Multi-zone
# Import ISO/DIN mountable
# Internal cooling fan
# Electronic volume, bass, treble, balance, and fader
# MOSFET audio output
# 5.1 audio outputs (RCA)
# 1 Audio/video input (RCA)
# 1 Rear camera input (RCA)
# 1 Composite video output
# 1-Pair multi-zone A/V outputs
# iPLUG interface cable (A/V-iPod-3.5mm)
# XM Radio Ready
# Integrated SD card reader (up to 2GB)
# 24-Bit D/A Converter
# Multi-zone remote control
# Infrared remote control
iPod
# Control and command all iPods via touch screen
(Except iPod "Shuffle")
# Displays all track information including:
Playlists, artists, albums, and songs
# Watch videos and view pictures
(*video control from 5th Generation iPod)
# Includes iPod interface cable
DVD/CD/MP3/WMA
# MP3/WMA encoded CD/DVD playback
# DVD-R/RW/DVD+R/RW/CD-R/CD-RW compatible
# Direct track access
# Last position memory
# Random/repeat/play/pause
# High-speed track search
# On screen display
# ESP buffer
# Subtitle/angle
# Zoom
# Play/pause
# Chapter skip/search
# Direct time/title/chapter access
AM/FM/TUNER
# US/European frequency spacing
# 48 Station presets
Bluetooth
# Communicates with most Bluetooth enabled phones
# Built-in microphone for hands-free operation
# Answer and place calls via touch screen
# One-touch dialing from phone book
# On-screen caller ID
This will add XM controlled via touch screen:
Plus the unit comes ipod ready, also controlled via touch screen. No additional adapter needed.
Installation should be a breeze since I already have a Nissan wire harness.
I will post pics during installation and after.
