Intro and Question on Alpine PXE-H650

Hello everyone my name is Jose. I am from Florida and I own an 06 G35. I'm looking into upgrading the sound system in my vehicle. I've browsed around and seen some very nice installs on most of everyones vehicles here and I must say they are awesome. I have a question and I'd like to know if you guys can help me out. I've been reading alot about the Alpine PXE-H650. Is a sound processor which basically means you can install a sound system without removing the HU. Here is a link to it

I don't have the bose package in my vehicle just the standard. I've always wondered how much output power the stock HU puts out, anyone know? I've read the sticky on how to upgrade your sound system with a stock HU but I am really interested in purchasing the alpine. I want to see if maybe anyone of you guys have heard of it or probably have it installed? Thanks for all who answer my question nice to meet you all. Cya around

I have heard of this unit and I have also used it. Really good technology, but if you want something better, use the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2. It will allow you to use your factory head unit (or aftermarket if you upgrade later), and give you all the eq, time alignment, and crossovers that you control to make your car sound great. I have one in my car now and I love it! So I have a heavy bias to the RF piece.

Yes the 3sixty.2 has RCA inputs and Speaker Level inputs, so it will work with any aftermarket or OEM head unit.

If you have a w205 USE the h701!
It does everything the RF 3sixty.2 does, plus it has an optical connection fron hu to processor and more channels available!!
