DD install questions...what will i need?

k here goes...my first post in audio!!

I just picked up a Panasonic CQ double din touch screen DVD with nav and usb etc. as well as a 1terrabyte External hard drive. ......

Now....

what exactly will i need to install it and have full use of teh original sterring wheel controls etc? so far i know i will need the JDM dash kit but what other extra harnesses will i need? also...rather than order the JDM dash could i not modify mine to work and have it fiberglassed and refinished? Im a huge DIY buff and used to work as a body man so i know my way around 'glass and epoxies.

the rest of the setup includes an amp to power a single 10' in teh trunk, diesel audio seperates up front and co-ax in rear, Diesel audio 7" monitors that are goin in the head rests for the kids.

I suppose you could modify your dash if you wanted, but you will at least need the AC controller.

awesome! clears up my biggest question which was why i had to use the JDM AC controller but now i understand fully! no point in not ordering the dash kit for an extra 60 bucjs when the AC controller is the most expensive piece of teh puzzle.
