NIS2 with early 03, non-SAT Bose doesn't work

I just tried adding a PAC-NIS2 (NISII) to my early 03 Sedan w/ Bose. I don't have factory satellite nor the SAT button but I connected the NIS2 to the open SAT (or CD changer) connection on the back of the HU. I don't have the CD button, I have a DISC button instead.

I tried pushing the DISC button twice to activate the NIS2 but nothing would happen. There appears to be no way to activate the NIS2 with a Bose non-SAT (with no SAT button) HU.

The strange thing is that although I don't have the SAT button but I do have the open connection on the back of the HU, I have the PTY button in the image below that seemingly allows me to select the different categories of channels that would be present if I had satellite radio installed.

Is there anyway or anyone who has been able to get a NIS2 (or NIS for iPod) to work with this HU?

Here is a picture of my HU:

Sorry, but I've never dealt with this issue.

What happened to that guy that said he could get the aux input by pushing the CD button twice?

You need to get PA11NIS but make sure you dont get the NISII version. Now it will say that it is not compatible to your car but dont worry it is you just plug it into the cd input on the back of your deck which you will have because being that you have a indash cd player the plug is not used and then to access the ipod or it has a input for any other mp3 player you just hit the cd button on your stereo twice. And it also will charge your ipod.
This posting was the reason I bought the NIS2 but it appears as though the non-Bose HU has a CD button rather than a DISC button. I also assumed that the NIS2 would work the same as the NIS for iPod.
