Searched everywhere, remote entry question

Hello - Ive searched a lot on the forums and cannot find what im looking for. I know you can turn off the horn chirp, but is there a way to program entry so that the headlights turn on when you unlock, or any other sort of feature? Also, is there a way for the auto headlights to stay on for a minute or so after the car is locked and then turn off later?

Thanks!

Technically it is possible. When I was doing an alarm install on my daily commuter, I ran into a timed relay switch. You could theoretically wire the unlock wire to trigger the relay. Then you can feed the outputs of the relay to the headlight switch wire. The relay can be adjusted to various time limits. The timer relay itself ranges from $15-$30 depending on where you get it at. Just be sure you are aware of the amperages you're feeding to which signal. Feeding 12A to a low amp 500mA signal feed would blow out circuits.

The BCM can be customized somewhat. See This post in the FAQ section.

YMMV

just mess with holding both lock and unlock at the same time. I was trying to get my windows to roll down with the remote (hold the unlock) and the lights and horn stopped going off by mistake. I think its just holding both buttons....
