Boston Acoustics Component sytem and JL amp upgrade

Took the plunge yesterday and upgraded my front speakers and dropped an amp on my coupe. The component system is a pair of Boston Acoustics 6.5 pro-series up front and a 45 watt JL audio amp. Now news here, our Bose system is absolute trash and it's now 2-300 watt system as they tell us. My research taught me that any kind of aftermarket upgrade would be an improvement on our system. The instal. pretty much took all day and was costly but a worthwhile expense. Our stcock Bose speakers were actually made in Mexico and have a sticker that say that they're Bose, yeah right. Our stock tweeters are supposedly made by Clarion and they're marked Clarion with a marker, pure junk. Anyway the system sounds ten times beter than stock and next up, after I have my clear-bra installed, I'll replace the rear deck speakers. Not sure if I'll add an amp and stick with Boston Acoustics but, I'm sure even cheap Pioneer, or Sony speakers will make a great improvement.

You will like the new system. It's no news that the stock system leaves much to be desired.

Sorry, No pics or how-to data available. I had the work done by a custom installer here in Big D. Figured I'd be better of paying to have it done and, have it done well the first time around. Think I will at least replace the rest of the spekaers left for now, using the stock amp.
