hey guys, i'm a complete idiot on car systems, i just got my G35C(thank you, thank you! love this car!) anyways, i want to get a system that rocks but i don't want to get rapped by the stereo places; what do you guys suggest i get; i mostly listen to rap and what a sound system that's clean with no flaws! i have a pretty healthy budget; any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thankx

 

i would go with JL Audio everywhere. A lot of people like MB Quarts though and they are prolly goin to tell you to get those with JL amps. MB Quart makes great speakers, but if i were to do i would get JL.

JL JL and some JL.

JL amps (300/4 for speakers & 500/1 for sub), JL XR series speakers (Components in the front and Coax in the rear) and one JL 10W6-V2 or 10W7. Alpine 9815 to run the system up front. And do the deadening. To save some money you can step down to TR series speakers in the back since its only for fill.

I saw that JL showed some new ZR models at CES. Not sure the pricing or when they come out, though. I really liked the sound of the ARC Audio ACS 265 components also, as another alternative.
