I've used Search and haven't found a concrete answer. I did find a similar thread on the Sedan.

Does anyone know for sure if the CDT CL-61 speaker will fit in the doors of the G35C without any major issues? Will the tweeters fit behind the stock grilles ok?

I know the Infinity Kappa tweeter fits without modification and the Polks fit with some work. The mid-bass might require some trimming of the baffle.

But, the mounting depth of the CL-61 mid-bass looks about 3/4" deeper.

 

I will know tomorrow if they fit. I get mine installed then. I'll let you know, if there is any custom fitting needed.

Yes, they do!!!!! However, a spacer was used to give more depth. No problems with the door fitting over the speaker either.

Did you fabricate a spacer or purchase one?

Where did you mount the x-overs?

 

The spacers are GM model spacers. The crossovers are mounted right behind the arm rest area.
So far, I have the speakers only hooked up to the bose amp, and they sound a lot better than the Bose did on the high end! It took away from the bose 6x9 bass though, and it's almost non existant now. Once I get my sub and amp installed to power the CDT's, this will be a whole different ballgame, and will blow that Bose system out the door!
