help!!

I'm not educated on anything about speakers. i want to put some nice speakers in my G but I dont know what kind to get, can someone install it for me etc. i also dont know what kind of amps and wires i need. im worried that if i ask the salesperson at the audio shop he will try to sell me the most expensive things that i dont really need.

What's your budget?

can someone install it for me etc.

yes

i also dont know what kind of amps and wires i need.

Depends on your budget and power requirements

Do your own research and learn about car audio. A good salesman will help educate you based on your needs and budget.

What year and model G do you have? Do you have the Bose system? Do you intend to replace the radio? Do you want to add an amp?

So you want to install a double DIN head unit and you want to bypass the Bose amp by installing an aftermarket amp?

Hey whats up man. If you have $6000 in savings I would spend no more than $2000 for everything. BUT if you have $6000 in saving and other investments than you could possibly spend more. But at your age i would suggest spending mo more than $2000(I said $2000 because DIN can get expensive). Thats just my .02 cents.

Unless you have more than $6000 I would just buy new speakers and a sub and buy a $400 garmin Nav. That is all. Nothing to fancy because you want to save money. For instance, I am going to buy my G and have a few thousand left over. First thing I will go is buy a $3000 CD. Then I will work untill I get another $5000. Once I get that, I will buy another $3000 CD. I will keep that process going untill the intrest can pay for what I want. Just be smart since you are young. Make sacrafices now so you have a return in the future. I mean, I know I would want a Pioneer Z2 HU and all that fancy stuff. But do I need it now? NO! Good luck with your project.

well i will tell you what i like a alpine dd head unit< 6.5 alpine conponets up front, 6.5 alpine co. in the back, then i would get a alpine pdx 4x10 amp to power all of that. then and only then would i buy subs for the back. the g does not have much room and i think that you would be pleased with just changing out the speakers.
