Procedure for replacing 6x9s in coupe???
I have searched several times and sites to try to find a posted procedure. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I found a great one by gordie for replacing the door speakers, which I will be doing also.
Thanks

You have to remove the back seats, rear side panels and the rear deck to get to the 6x9 speakers. Follow this link for assistance.
Good luck,

Yeah check that link....thats my post on my Coupe when i removed the rear deck...it should help you out a lot...I posted many pics in detail....just be careful with the clips holding the side panels they may stick inside the holes....get two flat head screw drivers and hold them from both sides and pull out evenly.....you'll see what I mean when U get into it....

Thanks very much guys!
I kept searching using "6x9 or 6x9s". Never thought of side panels. Now that I see this I may as well change those speakers to since I have another Zapco 150 amp I am not using!
Looks like my weekend is filled!

Question about the "hidden" sub you have...i was thinking of doing that ....my thing was does it give you a nice deep bass response?
<hr></blockquote>
Yes, I'm very pleased with the sound of my sub. Will I win any SPL contest? No. I'm not into super loud booming bass anyways (Who am I kidding, right? ).
I had the opportunity to try an Alpine 10" Type-R dual coil sub in the same enclosure. I was surprised that it did not sound any better than the Infinity sub I have. Perhaps if I had a larger mono amp it would have sounded better.
NYCG35,
Thanks for the rear side-panel removal DIY! I'll be forever grateful!
