Looking for new sub setup

Well I've had my G a little over a week and I'm already missing my subs from my truck. I had one Kicker Solo X 10 in a ported box, really obnoxious low end bass. I'm wanting something a lot more clean and rich sounding. A lot of you guys on here go with the JL series. Are ya'll satisfied with these? anybody have a bad opinion of them? I'm looking at the JLW6/7's, both in 10" and 12". and on the lower price end the kicker Comp VR 10" or 12" Either setup will be powered by a RF punch amp size depending on set up. Thanks for any input.

You're comparing Volkswagens to Porsches between the Comp VRs and the w7's.

What's you budget and trunk usefulness requirement?

4080 ENCLOSURE

IMAGE DYNAMICS 10" ID SUB

You pay a high premium for the JL name; not worth it IMO

well went to a local audio shop today and they had a memphis 10 in a custom built box that one of the employees was working on. nice looking enclosure so i think i'm just gonna go ahead and try out the memphis audio subs. i've had their mid's and high's and was very pleased. so guess i'll try the subs...

I wouldn't go with that bd600 amp. I had a bd1001 amp for a while in my G and it may be rated at 1000 rms but it barley pushed as hard as my JL 500/1 does. It also drains your electronics like crazy dimming lights etc where the JL didn't do it as much.
