So Ive always liked to have a volts guage in my cars. I dont have a huge sound system but I like to moitor it. So I found a Apex-I Rev Speed Meter sitting around in some boxes at home and remembered this looks pretty nice lit up and it has a volt meter and tach. Well since I redid my headliner and was painting the map light/sunglass holder piece I was going to just delete it cause I dont use sunglasses and never used that little pocket untill I tought about mounting the Rev Speed Meter in the pocket. Its a perfect fit got it all wired up but the tach is way off. At idle its like at 9000 and it reads normal once I rev it. I've searched all over and it seems like other people had the same problem with the tach readout on other devices. Has anyone got a tach to work for them ?
