Headunits in a G35-Please post pics

Hey everyone, i want to install my sub in my 05 sedan with the non premium sound, but i was advised to not do it until i get a new HU.

But i REALLY wanted to keep the stock, clean look.

But now im just looking for ideas.

If you have an aftermarket headunit in your car, can you please post a pic? Otherwise tell me how i can wire a sub and amp into my stock HU...

Thanks!

You can keep the stock non-Bose HU and add a sub.

Mine's not a 2005, but here's a Kenwood DNX5120.

From what I can tell, all double din head units will have a little space around them inside the DD finisher, but they look pretty good and have far nicer features than the stock radios.

I think the only aftermarket units that look really clean / stock are the Avic Z series, or the Alpins W200 series. A single-din is going to look far far far from stock, and some of the other head units have too many buttons and just dont have the stock look.

And if you're worried about money, don't forget: you're looking at at least a $400 investment before you even buy the radio, between the AC controller, finisher, shipping, LOC unit, etc. And this is assuming you're installing it. You really can't do anything decent for under a G-note in our cars...

If you put an $83 head unit in your G another kitten will be senselessly killed.
