Parrot CK3000 install

I installed my Parrot Bluetooth CK3000 hijacking the passenger side cig lighter for power and ground. I have aftermarket amplifiers so I cut and spliced a pair of RCA cables to run into the speaker inputs on the BT unit itself and used barrel connectors to connect to the output of the unit. I hooked up the mute wire and everything works the way it's supposed to but it sounds terrible and loud. I'm thinking that I need to put in resistors but where would I do that? What rating would I use? Would this be in between the RCA splice and the unit input?

Also, i've got a nasty whine as well when I turn the key to ACC. I assume this is the current coming from the heater fan and it's probably the ground but the ground is OEM so it should be a sturdy ground.

I used the ground from the cig lighter...which all I did was cut, splice, twist wire together, and tape. I'm thinking about running the BT unit going out of the amp. We'll see. Thanks.

Finally isolated the noise but it is incredibly too loud even when I turn the BT unit volume down. Anyone know of a way to keep the volume down or another way to route the input and output?

Nevermind...this BT unit is nice. I ran the input to amp and the output to the speakers. Of course because i'm running three sets of patch cables the sub still plays when everything else mutes. I just have to press mute on the HU to get it to stop but that sort of defeats the purpose. Oh well...at least i'm not having to charge a headset.
