Sucky Remote

I wish we can upgrade our remote control to those like BMW's or Volkswagon's...i like it with just one piece...
And plus the distance of this remote really sucks...it can only sense it within 10 meter....how can i enhance the sensibility?

Dude, I am right there with you. For the life of me I can't figure out why Infiniti cheesed out on the [censored] remote range for our rides!!!

I don't have any problem with range, maybe you need a new battery?

Re: Sucky Remote

If someone has a wiring diagram, maybe we could locate and extend the wire length of the antenna. I have done this im my '96 Impala SS and it worked.

Alright, before anyone flames me, give this a try 1st. Touch the end of the keyfob to your chin,Yes your chin, and then press the button. Somehow, your head amplifies the signal and the remote will work from twice as far. I know it sounds silly, but I'm really NOT kidding, it works.

Yea that really does work, but everytime I do it, I wonder if I'm gonna end up with a massive brain tumor by the time I'm 50.

Re: Sucky Remote

I've been doing the chin trick with my viper for the last 7 years. My friends joke, but are amazed time after time how it works. I'll try it without my chin and no work, then with my chin *beep beep*.
