Question DNX5120 question

Anyone else with the Kenwood DNX5120 notice an issue with the navigation voice prompts? Specifically, the issue I'm having is that I've got it "set" such that it's supposed to mute the music that is playing when the voice guidance for the navigation kicks in. However, on mine, the sound on the specific speaker that the voice prompts are set to is muted, but the volume of the music on all the other speakers actually increases, effectively making it *harder* to hear the voice prompts. Turning off the auto-muting doesn't seem to do anything either.

I've got the speaker connections running through the RCA jacks, if that makes a difference.

Do a web search on your DNX5120... I read that there's a firmware upgrade for it... but Im not sure if resolves your specific problem. BTW Kenwood has recalled some of the new HU's as well. I was getting the DDX812 last week.. then my dealer informed me about the recall from Kenwood for a "software update" for the 8120, 812, 7120, and 712... good luck!
KENWOOD!!!
