Custom JL G35 Stealth Box
Here's a reply I received from JL Audio when I asked them if they were considering designing a Stealth Box for the G35:
"Good morning Todd,
Your request is one of many we've received for the G35 Coupe and we are carefully considering developing a Stealthbox model for this vehicle. I can't make any promises at this time but suggest you keep in touch. May have
some good new for you in a month or so. Good luck with your G35, and thanks for your interest in Stealthbox!
Sincerely,
Don Vertrees
For those of you that have an interest in a production quality fiberglass box customized for the G35, please write JL and state your interest. I had one in my Audi A4 and it really pounded and you almost couldn't even notice it when you opened the trunk.

Don is who replied to me, and he copied Iris.
I'm going to give them a few opinions of how the design should be. If they make it hang from the deck, the pass through to the rear seat will be useless. If they use the rear drivers side cubby area, golf clubs will not fit. I'm hoping they use the wasted space to the left of the spare where the Blose amp is, but my second choice would be the rear left cubby area because I can always get my clubs in the back seat.

Re: Custom JL G35 Stealth Box
I got my reply from Don this morning, basically said the same thing...
<font color=blue>Good morning Rodd,
We have received quite a few requests for a G35 Stealthbox, and are considering the addition of this model to our development schedule. Can't make any promises, but keep in touch.
Thanks,

Re: Custom JL G35 Stealth Box
When I put it on my Audi it was about $500 with two 10" speakers.
I'm not holding my breath, but I am waiting a year or so and addressing my performance mods first. In the meantime the Bose will do. It actually sounds quite nice so long as I'm using a high quality CD in it.
I was very happy with this product on my Audi, although it did end up with a mystery rattle that no one could find. The only other option I'm even considering is some kind of "portable" 10" box that I can attach with velcro and remove when it comes time to load up the clubs or baggage.
In a couple of months I'm going to put a 500/5 amp and two Orion 6.5s in the front. With 6mm of excursion those speakers might provide all the bass I'll need.
