I have a 05 g35x with the bose system without xm.
Is it possible to add the oem xm?

Yes. Search for "satellite" at www.everythingg35.com and www.grubbsperformance.com for the tuner and antenna. It's simple to install.

do you know if the kit comes with the satellite button too? I think there is a button ontop of the HU that says xm, if the car is equiped with satellite.

also is the "Satellite Radio Antenna Cover" the shark fin for the newer model g? I dont want the black antenna i want the shark fin.

There is no satellite button. The 03-04 radios have a SAT button. The 05 and up have a RADIO button to cycle through the inputs to XM.

I don't think there is a shark fin cover, but you can call the seller and ask them.
