Please post Pics of 12 inch Setup in a Coupe

Hey Guys,

Long time lurker here. Looking for ideas on building a single 12 inch box for my 04 coupe. I did a search and found a few good pics. I was hoping ya'll could post pics of some clean SINGLE 12 inch sub setups in a coupe. I found so many 10 inch setups but not many single 12 inches in a Coupe. Thanks!

it would eat up way too much room IMO, i guess i dont seeh the point in a G coupe, you can fit certainly high output 10"s that can go quite low and really, you gain very little, if any, by forcing a 12" in a coupe i have been asked this a lot, and i myself have played with the idea a lot, and still in the end, came back to a 10" is just much better from an overall install standpoing in the G coupe.

I somewhat agree, but i already have a Infinity Perfect 12 inch from a previous car, and making a box is pretty fun, so 12 inch it is.

I have two JL Audio 12W6V2's. I'd love to see a single that retains the spare.

get the M-mobility kit from the BMW dealer or the mobility kit continental makes, it's a small 12volt compressor with tire sealant in it, won't fix the worst of flats but it's a hell of alot better than having nothing. FYI you can remove the plastic shroud/toolkit on the sides, and relocate the factory amp, might be a pain in the ***, but you can build down and out and fit angled 12's in both corners and have enough airspace to meet most sub requirements sealed. it's def. a fiberglassing endeavor though, but you can keep spare tire

I saw a few pics of people with the angled 12 in the corners. Something about it just doesn't look very clean. I don't know, just my humble opinion.

I don't think so either, but it does the damn thing. i prefer 10's anyway so that's not gonna be a problem when i get my icons, but i am building them all the down to the bottom of the trunk so i have enough airspace to run aeroports
Kappa perfect is a nice sub, we ran those for awhile in my friends BMW, 2 12's in
5 cubic ft. net 50sq in port tuned to 38hz w/ a brutus 1500watt. He did 141.3 on the new TL, not too bad. alot of people sleeping on those subs but they can hit. Good luck on the enclosure, make sure if you put it in the floor firing up that you dynamat the crap outta the trunklid and rear deck. firing to the rear is always better because you want it to reflect off the most rigid point in the trunk, the rear deck and top of the trunk are pretty large sections of thin metal so you will definitely benefit from adding some mass to them
