Total Mobile Audio - A JL Audio Company?

Apparently JL Audio bought out a smaller independent called TMA a while back, who have been around for a while i've read. Does anyone have any experience with their amps, for the price i was just going to buy a 4 channel to use with a set of DLS UP6i components, apparently they came out with a newer "i" version of their UP6 model, again never used it before.

JL has 'owned' TMA for a while now. Their amps are good, but I would take a JL anyday, however, the JL line does cost a bit more.

Totally agree, I have a 500/1 for my w7, just got the up6i components and figured I'd give it a try especially as JL prob wouldn't put its name by absolute junk.

I have a TMA 320.4 amp and it powers 4 mb quart premiums very well. as they said, jl is more expensive, but the slash amps and the slashv2 amps arekick a**!
