What do you think of this setup?
Please keep in mind I am not an adiophile, I am just looking to upgrade the system with better speakers and some bass.
Viper 650.5 Components
JBL 80.4 4 channel amp
Hi to Lo converter for use with stock HU
Alpine Type S 10"Sub in custom enclosure to fit under the rear deck of G35 coupe as to save trunk space.
Viper 350 Class D 500 Sub Amp
Sub Volume Controll
6.5 Pioneer 3 way ts 640 p for rear fillers
Quoted 1400 Installed
Is this price right? Do you recommend anything better?

Hmmm. Nobody's answering, so I'll give it a shot.
Alpine makes decent equipment.
Viper. . .not known for their audio. I can't comment, but I'd steer you towards Infinity or Boston Acoustic speakers.
I guess it depends on your budget. You get what you pay for, and this is especially true in car audio. Where you're not an audiophile, pretty much any after-market equipt you put in the car will improve it!

Actually, that's it for me and the engine mods, for now anyway. I am thinking about the LSD &Torque Converter mod. Anyone got a stock LSD they dont need, mine didn't come with one. Thats for a whole other post.
