Help: Scosche Connector to Pioneer

For the forum's Audio Gurus:

Quick question guys.

I'm connecting the Scosche NN03B harness to the wiring on my new Pioneer FH-P8000BT.

I'm not sure about the Blue/White wires.

For the Scosche harness, it says:
Blue/White = Remote Turn On (12V+)

For the Pioneer, it says:
Blue/White = Connect to system control terminal of the power amp or auto-antenna relay control terminal (max. 300mA 12V DC).
Control signal is output through Blue/White cable when this unit is powered on. Connect it to an external power amp's system remote control or the vehicles auto-antenna relay control terminal (max. 300mA 12V DC). If the vehicle is equipped with a glass antenna, connect it to the antenna booster power supply terminal. Never connect it to extenal power amp's power terminal. Also, never connect it to the power terminal or the auto antenna. Otherwise battery drain or malfunction may result.

So do I need to (should I?) connect these 2 wires together at all?

Also, what does the Black/White wire of the Scosche connector normally go to? I wasn't going to use it anyway, but I'm curious as it's not even mentioned on the Scosche Reference.

TIA

Connect the blue/white wires. The antenna apparently has a power booster that needs power.

I'm not sure what the black/white wire is, but that is usually the color combo of a ground wire.

Thanks again.

I read on another forum that some fellow didn't connect the Blue/White wire on his Toyota as he thought it was for a power antenna. He got really crappy reception until he hooked it up.

Anyway, here's a pic of the harnesses wired together. I later went back when I was doing the install to attach a couple of wires for the steering wheel interface.

The black/white wire is an amp ground wire and is not needed for these cars. Some Nissans had a ground wire running from the deck to the stock amp.

Thanks. I figured it was something like that. I wonder why it's not even mentioned though.

Hi first time poster,

I am trying to install the wiring for the D3, would the wiring be the same as the picture above?

I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the PAC unit correctly connected as well? does anything else connect to the M39 connector other than the PAC?

Thank you in Advanced,

Hi! I'm doing the Avic D3 too. I'm waiting for the harness to arrive. Some how I click the picture but it doesn't enlarge. Any idea?

Okay! so I tried to save the pic. but it's end up too small to see up close.

Another question: Is it the only harness you need for the wiring process?

thanks!
