Is there a DIY for changing the G's car battery?

My battery is dead and i'm headed to the store to buy a new one. Is there a DIY? or is it pretty basic? How long does it take and what tools do i need?

10MM to loosen up the battery terminals.
Mini flathead or skinny flathead to remove the clips holding the cover

that pretty much covers it.

The recommended practice when removing a car battery is to disconnect the ground connection first and then other terminal. This ensures that a short circuit will not occur by a wrench touching grounded engine parts while disconnecting the other terminal. Similarly, the ground should be connected last when installing a battery. Remove the old one, replace with new one. Simple as that.

As long as you use a battery that is the same size as stock it isn't a big job at all.

I went with a red top Optima that was a few inches shorter. It was short enough thet the OEM tie down bar wouldn't hold it down, so I had to raise the battery tray up about an inch.
