Unhappy AC Started making a noise then the noise went away but so did the AC

OK well when I had the AC on it was a clicking whine that went away at higher RPM then all the sudden the Noise was compelety gone along with the AC. The car is out of warranty im wondering if you guys know what needs to be replaced to fix the issue. I dont mind doing the work myself just need to know what to buy & where to buy from.

Thank you

My car has 51k Miles its a 2005 I dont think Im still under warranty

Just FYI, I think the basic warranty coverage (bumper to bumper) is 48 months or 60000 miles. I would call the dealership to see if it is still covered.

Yes, you are still within the warranty period. If you installed an aftermarket intake tube, just make sure it didn't rub a hole in the aluminum AC line.
