summary

2 types of kits.. JDM and Metra... Metra has cheaper looking buttons, not stock color. JDM is back-ordered currently...have to wait for it. Im currently waiting for my JDM kit because I want to do it right the first time. JDM kit also has no dual climate button. (Can be taken from your orginal AC Cont. with minor soldering)

Once you have your basic AC Controller and DD Finisher you also need steering interface if you want to keep those controls.
Wire Harness, Wire Harness Adapter, Antenna Adapter.

Crutchfield.com is very good at showing you accessories after you select your HU.

The Metra kit is only for the 03-04 cars.

You'll have to wait a few months until the 05 and up JDM DD kits become available. They are on back order.

Not so, Metra has a kit for the 05, but it is cheap looking.

So they came out with a kit for 05 and up? All the ones I saw previously were for 03-04.

I looked at Riverside's website and they didn't have the dd on their site. I talked with Grubbs and they said Japan is not concerned with producing more dds for the 05-06, is this true?

That's awesome if they're getting them in a month. What would the price be for them and will it come with the AC controller needed to replace the previous one?

WOW you are right on time. I'm on the list at Riverside, but I just called Grubbs and they did have them. Only a few left as of 12:25pm eastern time.

Really? Because I called them Friday and they said that there is a wait from Japan and that they had some company in the process of replicating the jdm model with ac controller and also, I was told to call back in 2 weeks and they let me know how it worked. I know that may sound unbelievable but that is what I was told.

my JDM kit from Grubbs shipped today!!! Hopefully i can get it by the weekend and get my new double din touchscreen installed this weekend.

I called Tony at riverside today and cancelled my preorder. He's like "if you don't mind me asking...where did you find it?"

So, i guess they don't know when they're getting them either.

i'd say jump on the Grubbs ones ASAP, i'm sure they're probably almost out.
