External GPS Antenna

Anyone install one? Just trying to get some ideas, I was thinking either on the rearview mirror, or on the top of the sunroof shade.

Mines on the trunk, but now its starting to bother me. I want to move it inside next to the brake light

The OEM antenna location is behind the clock. If your external antenna isn't large, it can go there. Mine is mounted on top of the rear deck between the Bose grills along with the Sirius antenna.

Yeah I mounted my Gilsson antenna for my nuvi 750 behind the clock directly under the dash. There are several places to slip in in, just make sure there is no metal between it and the sky. Placing it as far forward as possible will give it the best line of sight. It's definitely worth the trouble because it's 100% invisible. The only thing to be careful with is the cluster lid finisher on the 05-07 coupes as it breaks easily.
