I just hooked up a factory Sirius receiver and had it activated, but can't seem to tune to all of the channels. I think the unit is working, but that I am stuck within one particular genre of music and can't change channels. When using the manual tune buttons I get channel 1, then it skips to 15, then 20, 21, then 28. The biggest problem is that I can't get Howard 100, although I can get 101. I'm only getting a handful of channels total. When I use the Scan button it skips to the same channels.
I feel like I'm probably just stupid and that this is probably something pretty simple.

I would check the owners manual. I have XM and I have pretty much everything stored as a preset. Then I just use the steering wheel controls to go between presets. But I think one button will go between genres, and another button will let you tune individual channels.
I called Sirius and it turns out there was a problem with my activation. They re-activated the account and now I get all the channels....only to find out that Howard's on vacation. Just my luck.

Hey Greggybase,
When you called, what did they ask for?
Im not too sure if there is a block on my signal, but It skips over the these channels...
Ch 40 Hip-Hop Nation Today's Rap
Ch 43 Backspin Old Skool
Ch 45 Shade 45 Shady's Uncut Hip Hop
I really wanna listen to these, but not sure if there is anything I can do on my end instead of calling.
Thanks.
