IPOD w/ Display integrated into stock nav

Well ok ok .. I lied a little... its not the EXACT ipod display... but is the graphical rendering of the ipod's files via DLO HomeDock.

Ok so what the heck did I do?
- Connected my ipod (video) to the stock 05 headunit (w/ nav) so that the song information / album / artist / song names / album art all pop up on my nav. Basically, the nav is my ipod screen and I can use a remote to navigate through all my content...

What did I need?
1. TvAndNav2Go module (plug n play) - 250$
2. PAC-SWI-NIS2 - 100$
3. DLO HomeDock - 129$

Total cost: ~450$

Set up:

IPOD is connected to my DLO dock... has video + 2 RCA out for audio... The docks audio RCAs are connected to the PACNIS2's first inputs (channel SR1)... The tvAndNav2go is connected w/ the video out from the dock...

and viola... drive as you pick songs from your ipod viewed @ your nav

The problem arises when I need to find a place to mount the dock... its gonna have to be @ the trunk area... I know what you are thinking: How the eff will the remote work if the dock is in the trunk? lol i experimented this and I will be using an optical cable that runs from my cig lighter to the trunk... that way... all i do is keep the remote in the car and point it @ the cig lighter if i wanna operate the ipod..

PICS / VIDEOS later... @ work now and had to brag...
