So installed the avic N3, audio not as loud....

Played with all the settings, unless I'm missing something, the audio seems like it could be much louder. Had a fellow G member install it for me and he's a professional so I don't see anything being mis-installed. Is there any certain setting I should look for to get it louder. I turn the volume all the way up to 62 and it sounds like 3/4 of the way up?

Share your experiences or knoweledge....Thanks

Does your car have the Bose system? If so, were the D3's RCA outputs used to feed into the Bose amp or were LOCs used to step down the speaker outputs to feed the Bose? Or was it connected some other way?

Umm not sure because I didn't install it, but a fellow member on the boards did so let me find out what he did....thanks for the help.

Also I do have a bose system and it wasn't a D3 rather an N3

yeah we used the RCA outputs on the N3 in order to get a cleaner signal from the deck to the amp. A LOC could've been used but imho the signal is not as clean as an AMP bypass harness (the one we used).
