Someone Got the Navi LCD to play DVDs
I seen it many times on this forum about having the Navi play DVDs. Well, someone did a conversion which has both the Navi and DVD player. Here is the link:

Pestilence beat you to it by about 2-1/2 hours. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] Worth mentioning here, too, though. It looks like they're using an aftermarket DVD player, and hooking it into the second input for the video screen, something that's been mentioned here before.
IMO, the real trick is going to be getting the stock DVD drive to play DVD movies w/o having to add an aftermarket player. If I have to get an aftermarket DVD player, I figure I might as well get a little portable unit with it's own LCD screen, and leave the car alone.

thats why I got the toshiba SD-P2000 with the auto adapter so I dont have to cut or modify anything..nice cool feature is you can flip the image so you can hang it upside down also have dual headphone jack..
