I have always wanted to know if the G's Bose stereo can play MP3 CDs, so tonight I popped one in and to my dissapointment it did not work. Why is it that the Bose stereo on a new 30k car does not play MP3s? It does not seem to make sense, as many lower end cars come with stereos with MP3 capabilities.

 

i agree...the new TL has it as an option...to be honest..for that kinda things its always better to have aftermarket products anyway...bose probably not ever gonna make a mp3 player because mp3 is a compressed version of sound files which after decode CANNOT regain its 100% (although some might argue with enough size of mp3 files can make the minimal difference in sound quality) the point being bose always try to aim for the highest sound quality....as they claim =)...

well..i wouldn't call them sound like [censored]...its more like...not the best quality u can get for the money
